Eine der ältesten amerikanischen Turnschuhmarken. Converse erfand den "Chuck Taylor", der erste Basketball- und später auch der erste Skate-Schuh überhaupt. Heutzutage ist der "Chuck" aus der Fashionwelt nicht mehr wegzudenken. Auch Converse hat eine lange Sportgeschichte, wie z.B. mit dem Weapon oder dem Maverick, welche in den achtziger Jahren die Füsse von vielen berühmten Basketballspielern wie Larry Bird, Magic Johnson oder Dr.J schmückten.
