JB Classics was officially launched in San Francisco, Dunring the the winter of 2001 Founder Jason Basshas noticed a void in the footwear industry. The lack of personality & added details in current footwear encouraged hirn to start his joumey. In late 2004,Mdot and JB jorned forces to steer Ihe brand frorn its utlra niche platforni to the next layec. JB Classics Lab® was fomied. The two plan on covenng all elements of the lifestyle. Rooted in design, JB Classics Lab® pushes the limits with every collection.
Current Collections:
JB Classics Holiday ‘07 collection, “The Leary Collection” is by the 1960’s counterculture psychedelic icon, Mr. Leary. The six Premium models are hand numbered inside the tongue and are packaged with JB Classics’ certificate of ownership. Each style is limited to 200 pairs.

Timothy Francis Leary (October 22, 1920 – May 31, 1996) was an American writer, psychologist, modern pioneer and advocate of psychedelic drug research and use, and one of the first people whose remains have been sent into space. An icon of 1960s counterculture, Leary is most famous as a proponent of the therapeutic and spiritual benefits of LSD. He coined and popularized the catch phrase "Turn on, tune in, drop out."
