Shawn Stussy, a local surfer himself, started writing his last name on self-made surfboards.

Stussy - A veteran in the streetwear scene
In addition to distributing his surfboards, he also used the graffiti-inspired Stussy logo to print on t-shirts, hoodies, and hats to sell in Southern California. With design influences from the skater, surfer, Hip-Hop and punk scenes, Stussy created its own unique style, becoming one of the most recognizable brands in the streetwear scene. The motifs of Stussy are always positive, happy music like reggae are as much design inspiration as the legendary Stussy 8-Ball design. The Stussy women's collection offers fashionable clothing with feminine cuts.

Stussy and Nike - A decades-long partnership
Back in 2000, Stussy was allowed to design its first sneaker by Nike. Since then, many more have followed and one is more popular than the other. First, there was the Nike Huarache with Stussy of which a new edition followed 20 years later. With the Nike Blazer and the Nike Dunk, Stussy has also grafted basketball sneakers from Nike. The last shoe with Nike was the Air Max 95, so we can be curious about how this successful collaboration will continue in the future. In addition to sneakers, there was also a whole collection of clothing from Stussy and Nike and the Benassi beach slipper also a model that you can use for strolling along the beach promenade of Laguna Beach.
