adidas Spiritain 2000 Overkill – Inspired by an Icon
The inspiration comes from the Overkill x adidas Equipment Racing 93 "Taxi", released in 2015, which quickly became one of the most popular sneakers in our collaboration history. The combination of a black lining and the distinctive taxi-yellow colorway turned the shoe into an instantly recognizable classic within the international sneaker community.
The adidas Spiritain 2000 Overkill will release exclusively through us on March 14, 2026.
The release will start in-store first from 11:00 AM (CET) at our OVERKILL stores in Berlin & Cologne.
Remaining pairs will then become available online at our webshop afterwards from 8:00 PM (CET).

With the adidas Spiritain 2000 Overkill, we are launching an exclusive model that has a direct connection to one of the most influential sneaker releases in our history.
The inspiration for this comes from the Overkill x adidas Equipment Racing 93 “Taxi,” which was released in 2015 and quickly became one of the most popular sneakers in our collaboration history. The combination of black inner lining and the characteristic taxi yellow colorway made the shoe an instantly recognizable classic within the international sneaker community.
The new adidas Spiritain 2000 Overkill picks up on this visual identity and reinterprets it on a modern running silhouette. Black and cream white contrasts are reminiscent of the iconic Berlin taxis and combine retro inspiration with a contemporary performance look.

The new adidas Spiritain 2000 Overkill picks up this exact visual identity and reinterprets it on a modern running silhouette. Black and cream-white contrasts reference Berlin’s iconic taxis and combine retro inspiration with a contemporary performance look. As you might expect from us, the sneaker also features several detailed touches, including reflective elements, the tagged model name on the heel and tongue, hidden references to the 2015 release, and a specially designed insole.
For us, this release is both a tribute to a piece of our own history and a new chapter within Berlin’s sneaker culture.
The Family & Friends version of the adidas Spiritain 2000 Overkill is limited to 100 pairs!
The design combines the same features as the cream-white colorway. The F&F model is an inverted colorway of the “Taxi” version. The Raffle will start on March 11.
