The ASICS GEL-KAYANO 14 brings back the technical running aesthetics of the late 2000s with a complex silhouette and authentic performance DNA. Inspired by the original 2008 model, this retro runner combines breathable mesh panels with numerous synthetic overlays and the signature ASICS Stripes. The Carrier Grey / Black colorway features a particularly layered appearance: dark grey mesh forms the base, while metallic silver and light cream-grey overlays create distinctive contrasts. Black lines along the ASICS Stripes, dark heel elements and glossy black inserts within the sole enhance the technical Y2K look. Cream-colored sections on the lacing, overlays and midsole introduce a warmer tone to the otherwise cool-toned design. The upper construction promotes comfortable ventilation while giving the ASICS sneaker additional structure and stability. Underfoot, the midsole draws inspiration from the original GEL-KAYANO 14 tooling. Integrated GEL technology supports effective shock absorption and comfortable cushioning. A textured outsole completes the functional design and provides reliable everyday grip.
