The ASICS GEL‑NYC merges heritage running elements with modern performance technologies into a unique sneaker that combines style and comfort. Its upper draws heavy inspiration from the GEL‑Nimbus 3 of the early 2000s, enhanced by functional details from the GEL‑MC‑PLUS V to add depth and retro appeal. The midsole system references the design of the GEL‑Cumulus 16 and uses a blend of lightweight foam and GEL inserts so every step becomes softer, more responsive and cushioned. The GEL modules in the forefoot and heel reduce impact stress and ensure a pleasant walking experience even during extended wear.
